Georgia and Matthew got married in early September amid the elegance and rolling acres of Rookesbury Park, near Portsmouth. With its imposing portico and commanding view over rolling Hampshire countryside, this historic property was the ideal venue in which to bring to life their refined vision.
Matthew arrived in a stylish modern Bentley and, with all guests seated, Georgia and her bridesmaids walked up the aisle in the mansion’s central hall, serenaded by the Bossard Quartet. This set the elevated tone for the day of their dreams, with confetti and family portraits in front of the portico, Pimms on the manicured lawns and their wedding breakfast in the spacious, light-filled orangery.
Making the most of the beautiful weather and architecture, Georgia, Mathew, my second photographer Jenny and I created a wealth of portraits on the carriage drive after speeches.
And later on, while taking some drone photos of the house at dusk, I chanced upon the happy couple out for a walk down the drive. There I was able to take some final romantic portraits of the two of them. It was a magical end to a fabulous wedding.
